CONDENSATION CONTROL
We don't have condensation barriers included in these pole barn prices. If your jobsite is in a humid area then a condensation barrier, or roof sheathing, is necessary to prevent moisture from forming on the underside of your steel roofing.Our condensation barrier includes a white vinyl interior and foil exterior to repel radiant heat that builds up when the sun beats down on your roofing. This radiant heat buildup occurs with all colors but darker colors create the most heat.
For residential buildings we recommend osb or plywood in place of a condensation barrier to provide sound deadening as well as condensation control.
Labor Cost to Build A Pole Barn
Pole Barn Installation / Pole Barn ErectionThe labor cost to build a pole barn varies by region. The accessories, height of your building, span of your truss, and location of your jobsite can all impact the total cost of erection and installation of accessories.
A good rule of thumb for a typical pole barn is to multiply the cost of material by a factor of 45-65% (depending on region/jobsite location/span/height) to estimate erection cost and installation of doors and windows. This factor does not include permitting fees, leveling your site location, or a concrete slab.
DIY CONSTRUCTION
