Installation instructions for Loan Amortization Spreadsheet Widget

Thank you for downloading our widget. This
free widget installs in the sidebar of your
Wordpress blog. The calculated results
are placed in a spreadsheet which your visitor can
download directly from your website.

1. Using your ftp client or ssh create a new plugin
subfolder called loan.  The plugin folder is
located in wp-content/plugins.

So, the destination of these files will be:
wp-content/plugins/loan

The unzipped package should contain:

install.txt
loan-amortization-spreadsheet.php
widget-bottom.gif
widget-top-gif

The bottom three files are required for plugin
operation.



2. After uploading the files to your plugin
subfolder, log in to your WP admin panel. (In the
/wp-admin/ subfolder of your blog.

Click the plugins link on the top menu (or left
sidebar) and enable the Loan Amortization Spreadsheet
plugin.


3. Next the plugin must be placed in a sidebar.

For older versions of Wordpress, inside the WP
admin panel click on presentation then Widgets.

For Wordpress 2.5 click on Design, then Widgets.

For Wordpress 2.8 click Appearance, then Widgets.

Drag the "Loan Amort Sched" widget to a sidebar.

Click Save Changes and you are done. Your widget
should be visible on your blog.
